I was bored D: felt like doing something fantasy-like. and WOW. I just noticed I've been into blue colors a lot lately. This is like the fifth consecutive blue drawing I've done with week XD God I need to find a new color Watch the speedpaint here: [link]
First of all, I absolutely adore your colour choice! The colour scheme is simple, but it totally fits the drawing. I especially like the red of the ribbon, it adds a nice touch of warm colour and therefore contrast in the otherwise cool colour scheme.
I like the simplicity of your drawing, but I feel as if you could have done a little bit more for the background. Maybe just something as small as hint at the ground; nothing too complicated or detailed. Or maybe some faded whisps of air/light in the background? And a bit more shading (on the fur) would propably also add to the drawing, because it's really vague the way you drew it.
The pose is also really nice, and the anatomy looks about right to me (I'm no expert at animal anatomy, I just know the basics, so sorry that I can't be of help there). I also like that one can see the skull; it definitely adds to the atmosphere of this picture, together with those white whisps of light, which have a nice texture.
All in all, I really like the mood of this picture, you did a great job with it! Keep it up!
;U; Uuuuu thank you so much for the critique! <3 it's greatly appreciated! And I noticed I'm very vague when it comes to details xD I never have patience for that sort of thing, so I'm trying to practice on that(also the background, lul) Thank you again for the wonderful insight!
